Architecting Human-AI Collaboration

The mission behind the Center for Collaborative Intelligence

Matt Fumento

Three decades inside the system—advisory, talent development, and AI strategy—have made one thing clear: the fundamental architecture of organizational learning was designed for a world that no longer exists. Matt has held leadership roles across the very systems we're now questioning: billions spent on initiatives that didn't change behavior, frameworks that promised clarity but delivered constraint.

The insider who stepped outside. Not to dismiss the work, but to surface the questions and provocations we need to move forward.

The CCI Foundation

The Center for Collaborative Intelligence exists to architect human-AI collaboration from first principles. What matters today isn't AI as a tool alone—it's AI as a mirror. It exposes that our constraint was never access to information. It was always curiosity and emotional relevance. We're using 20th-century maps for 21st-century terrain.

This work isn't a declaration that L&D or advisory is worthless. It's an invitation to see the obsolescence of old models so we can rebuild. No claim to have all the answers. The goal is to surface constructive provocations and offer seeds—like the Lab frameworks and the book—for you to explore. Take what resonates, challenge what doesn't, and use it to navigate a world where the old maps no longer work.

Connect with CCI for advisory, lab briefings, or speaking.
